What can I say, lol, today is a good day to rant. xD

Stamp #3 of my black and white rant series, and I title this Furry stamp #1 because I'm sure there will be more at a later date...lol

Furry. We all know what it is. The whole anthro fandom, though everyone of course has their own interpretation, just like Therianthropy. But what I just can't understand, is why people feel so obligated to associate the fandom with homosexuality. And I don't just mean the basic "every Fur is gay" arguement, I honestly couldn't care less. I was a part of it for a while, and I knew plenty of Furries who weren't gay. But I pulled out of the fandom for a reason...

Furry does not equal gay. And I mean this in the discrimination sort of way. I listened to all sorts of Furs complain about how bad their lives were, how people stared at them awkwardly when they wore their tails and ears, and how bad they felt about the people who stared... Okay...reality check...don't we do these things to purposely attract that sort of attention? lol, I know I sure did. And don't give me that "it's a way of life!" bullshit, kids, you just want somewhere to belong like the emo fandom and the anime fandom, it has nothing to do with "who you are". If it was that deep you wouldn't be bitching about how people think you're strange and completely outcast you just because you're a Fur... Sorry people, I don't see that happening. Furry does not equal the same discrimination as homosexuality, it never has. People don't beat you, they don't constantly harass you in a physical manner or threaten to get you fired just because you're a Fur.

No, this does not happen. If it does, it happens very rarely, seriously. I hear every day about how homosexuals are being threatened, how the Christian (and others, I just happen to hear about them the most) church is trying to get them banned from teaching and all that stupid hateful nonsense. Bottom line...Furry does not equal gay and it never has. People need to grow up and realize that the life you have really isn't all that bad, not as bad as most of the people make it out to be. If you don't want attention, don't wear ears and a fucking tail in public. THAT'S JUST FUCKING STUPID. OF COURSE PEOPLE ARE GOING TO LOOK AT YOU, NO FUCKING SHIT. lol

This is probably one of the things that really irks me the most, because homosexuals have it a lot harder than you guys. Get over it.

So don't get on here and comment about how bad your life really is and try to reason with me, it won't work. I saw the sides of the fandom, and I'm ashamed to say, a lot of it was just stupid. I'll always give kudos to the Furs who actually do constructive things with their time like visit children's hospitals in their Fursuits and offer free artwork to the kids. That's awesome guys, keep up that great effort. But I will never resopect those others who do nothing but complain and bitch, bitch, bitch about their lives, throwing pity parties for any who are stupid enough to give them some sympathy. Don't fall for it. It's just emo with a tail and ears.
